Spins smoothly in non-laminar water flow, but needs to increase in diameter, as well as an increase in width of individual blades, so that we can integrate a magnet.

One of the supports for the impeller to sit on. We're modeling the impeller at the moment.

Side view of the model. The impeller(red) will spin in-between the two support(green), which will held within the piping.

From the model view provided it looks as if you're creating the bearings as 'spikes' in the support and cups in the impeller (I didn't appreciate that from the photograph), it will be interesting to see how well that spins and holds up to wear when printed, certainly a neat solution.

When we printed the impeller, on of the fans didn't stick properly to the bed, and the spikes were quite blunt. However, we should be able to print on a more accurate printer for the final model.

Made needle shaped axle and it spins nicely under the tap.
