July 2020 onwards - River System Status
Re: July 2020 onwards - River System Status
I’m not at home but I think I have it on behalf of WMT.
Re: July 2020 onwards - River System Status
I have the HDD, still in the sealed cardboard box in which it was delivered.
BTW when i went into WMT for my meeting this afternoon, Nick told me that the river was not flowing. I examined the sump, it was full, and had probably overflowed into the soakaway.
I was on limited time so I hard reset Sump and Wendy control boxes and gave the sump probe a waggle. Later when I left the sump level was lowish with the circulation pump running so system back up and running but with limited water. I advised Nick to put the hose in tomorrow.

I'll make time to swap the defective HDD out and the replacement HDD in over the next few days, which drive's faulty and what's the process, please?
Re: July 2020 onwards - River System Status
I've just had a call from Mandy who says that the River isn't running, but the Sump is full. A tail of the SumpPi log gives:
I presume this is related to the NAS Box issue?

Terry, can you tell if was still functioning up until the time of the above messages?
As I said earlier I'll make time to swap the defective device for the one I have here if anyone can let me know which one need changing and any steps I need to take to do it.

Re: July 2020 onwards - River System Status
Penri,
It looks as if this fault has existed for weeks. I got back as far as the 24th of last month before I found the last time the connection was made. The problem first showed up at 17:37.
The NAS Box will need to be powered down before you can pull the faulty drive and I'm presuming that it will need to be shut down. I can probably do all that, but I don't know which drive it is.

Re: July 2020 onwards - River System Status
Drive B is the faulty one, and no that problem is unrelated and shouldn't cause the issues with the sump, but I'd rather come in and do it myself if thats okay, because the NAS box is quite fickle.
I can come in next Tuesday to do it, or possibly at the weekend.
