Hmmm. I've just looked again and realised that it should have been engineer-gui/engineer-gui. If it doesn't work on Tuesday try putting http:// in front of it.

A thought. Did you omit the Quotes?

If none of that works, try 'nasbox' without the quotes.

If that doesn't work, I'll have to think again.

Apologies, I didn’t get around to testing out the suggestions above this morning, too many other tasks, sorry.

That's OK. I'm not sure how useful it would be anyway.

I have updated the GUI to include more human-readable names in the dropdown list. It is deployed on-site. Penri, is this what you wanted?

OK, popped in today, on my way elsewhere.

Tried engineer-gui and engineer-gui/engineer-gui, to no discernible effect, then added http:// before them and bingo everything came good. I did not do an exhaustive test of all possibilities at it was raining.
The Plain English additions to descriptors work for me, thank you Hamish.
Unfortunately I didn’t have time to check levels today but as I’m there tomorrow will do it then.
The FTTC connection was enabled today, measured 30 odd Meg download and 10 odd upstream.

Perhaps best to make it http://nas/engineer-gui Terry?

Ah good, glad they work better.

I will test the VPN speed now to see if it's a bit better.

Hamish,

That occurred to me as well. However, as Penri pointed out, once the browser has the IP Address in its history, it makes little difference,
