Thanks for the debate, I've written to the manufacturers vis a vis non-submerged operation and am awaiting a reply.

Trench
• Mark out route
• Clear existing gravel
• Dig trench

◦ Pipe / joints
◦ Gravel
• Lay pipe / ethernet
◦ Pipe and ethernet cable laid in trench on bed of gravel and covered by gravel. Depth to be determined.

Rear of Wendy house
• Site for pump / valves / controls
• Location of Ethernet switch
• Identify and purchase hardware
• Installation

Sump
• Tidy up pumbing and sump house
• Identify and install new pump
• Add control for new pump (if different from old)
• Make new sump removable door to show off sump contents.

Sump control ‘Green” box
• Prepare and Paint

Okay, sounds good. Should we put this in a new topic? That way we could modify the post as we go to keep up with what's been done and the new things that we'll inevitably add to the list :)

I think that isn't a bad idea. As well as modifying the list by additions and updates, we can also mark items as 'Done' to show progress.
