Summary of meeting 12/9/2017

Hi,

Here's a brief summary, but let me know if anything is missing.

We talked about:

• Software design documentation.
• When we would like to deploy our software/hardware.
• Penri's new magnetic levels probe.
• Terry's second interface board for buttspi (to replace the multiple boards there at the moment).
• Software and hardware design to integrate with the new probe.

We decided:

• That we will not be using the resistance probe in our deployment as it is too unreliable.
• We will move most of the circuitry into waterproof boxes.
• Terry will make a new interface board for buttspi (not required for deployment).
• I will add support for the magnetic levels probe in the software.
• As Terry won't be able to work much on the project next week, we will try to deploy in two weeks time (around 26/9/2017).

We also discussed some more long-term stuff, but it was essentially just chat rather than making firm decisions, so not posted here.

Minor clarification. I will make a new Interfacing Board, but not necessarily in time for the projected deployment date. If it isn't finished in time, I will refit the existing buttspi installation as an interim measure.
