It came to my attention after upgrading to Mint 20 (based on Ubuntu 20.04) that pylint wasn't showing old counts for various things in the reports.
Version 2.3.1 does not have this issue, but 2.4.0 and after do. You can downgrade using pip.

NB: This was fixed in April 2021 (as can be seen in the report) so this thread can now be considered irrelevant.
