Re: Icons & Symbols
I have begun designing an icon for water flow rate. But first I need to know what measurements/range water flow data should be displayed as; or is it okay to have (3) icons with high, low, medium flow rates?
Re: Icons & Symbols
Ultimately we will have a number which will be displayed alongside the icon. I think the icon should show water direction, stopped, and moving.
Penri, Have you any thoughts on this?

Hello
I'm in agreement with Terry on this one, direction, stopped and moving should be our initial target. Flow rate will be required in the fulness of time.
We did have a Canford School group working on a flow meter design, easier this year, but it was not completed enough for us to measure the flow rates in pipes, which was it's intended purpose. Hopefully it will be picked up as a project next academic year.
