Stage Butts Deployed

The stage butts have now been deployed and plumbed (mostly). They are yet to be connected to the wendy street butts, but this will come soon.

With the completion of:

• Integrating Stage Pi, and all of its associated probes.
• Integrating the new network switch and block.
• Cable runs from the network switch box to all of the Pis (for both ethernet and DC power).
• Removal of the old red box and switch underneath.

Another major stage of the deployment has been completed.

This means we are close to having automated control over the Stage Butts using the river system control software. Software-wise, Stage Pi has been integrated as far as remote logging of the sensors at Sump Pi has been enabled. We still have some remaining work to do before integration will be complete:

• Framework support for controlling devices at each site, rather than controlling everything using Sump Pi.
• We need to build, test, and install the Stage Gate Valve, so Stage Pi can manage its water level.

Nevertheless, this is a big achievement, and it was all done in record time as well - I can't believe we got everything done in one day! As before, pats on the back all around.
