Problems with multiple attachments

Post by TerryJC »

Hamish,

I think that there is a bug in the Forum software. A few days ago i had problems posting multiple attachments and I notice that Penri has just had a similar problem. Like me he was trying to post three images to a single post, but the Forum seems to throw the attachment away before it can be posted.

Hello

I have to agree, it all seemed to be there when I previewed it but there's only one image there now. Interestingly an earlier post on that topic shows three attachments.

Hello,

I've found that using the preview can cause these issues. It did this to me too one time.

After previewing, check your attachments are still there, and if not then re-upload them. Also note that you can edit previous posts to re-add attachments if needed.

As I don't maintain this software, and there is not a new version, we'll have to live with this for a while I think.

I did just look this up, and have found that it is a confirmed bug, and has been fixed, but the fix won't be available until an update is issued.

I'll keep checking periodically, and update the software when possible.
