Re: Resurrection of the Mobile Staff / Volunteer GUI

Hamish,

Are you saying that the GUI is actually running? I didn't think that it had got that far.

If it is, how is it accessed,?

Re: Resurrection of the Mobile Staff / Volunteer GUI

I've thought about this some more and realised that I could access the site with a Pi running the Stage Butts software from my workshop over VPN by installing the Client software the Pi. However, the test setup wouldn't be very representative, because the site network wouldn't see the Stage Butts as...

Re: Summer 2023 Maintenance

I re-installed the server at the site on Monday afternoon and left form my trip to the Midlands. The server was operating normally before I left. While checking out the VPN connection recently, I noticed that I couldn't connect to the Webserver. Yesterday I retrieved the Webserver Assy from WMT and brought it home for testing. Fortunately, the server seems to be operating well here, which means, unfortunately that there is problem with the on...

Re: Reintegration of the System with O/C Protection and WiFi

Would it be possible to reverse the output polarity. At the moment it is only running on the time out and the end diode end sections, rather abrupt stops. Geoff, I don't see how reversing the motor wiring would solve that problem. If the train was running in reverse it wouldn't move out from the st...

Should we make a new thread for general integration discussion - it's not early 2022 anymore?
Yes. I think so.

Re: Winter Workshop 21/22

No. It's almost certain that the problem was that the valve was stuck in the housing owing to not being used for several years.
